Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

March 13th was the last time my co-teacher and I got to see our 23 preschoolers in person. We all had to adjust in our homes in order to make learning almost the same for our students. My students and their families are all doing their best during this hard time.

Since we can't see our students daily, my co-teacher and I have to provide high-quality videos to show instruction to our students.

We are striving to give our students the best type of instruction we can during school closure. Our students deserve to be able to see us as clear as possible in order for them to really feel like they are in school.

My Project

PreK is the first formal school experience for most students, so it's important to help students stay connected during this distant learning. My co-teacher and I need help staying connected; the video ring light will help us by being able to make good quality videos for the kids to see! By using the ring light during our video recording it will help highlight our activities charted in our poster charts with clarity. Also, during our video conference meetings the students will be able to see us better and the quality will look less grainy.

The video light will reduce strain to students' vision as they are able to see activity demonstrations with clear directions.

Once we return to school, the video ring light will help us create wonderful memories for projects. The other materials will help us with feeling like we are at school and make our teaching more realistic Your generous donations will help us stay connected to our kids even while far apart from them!
