My Project

I teach First grade in a diverse urban area of the Philadelphia School District. I have varied learners in my classroom, all of which have different abilities and needs to reach their potential. I have also been designated as the English language learner classroom. My students come to school eager to learn, and I am happy to be there with them to share and instill a love of learning.

This easel will be a visual learning space in the classroom for interactive work, anchor charts, and so much more.

It will be utilized daily to display anchor charts which students can refer to for strategies to solve math problems, and shared reading information for independent writing. Since this board is also magnetic it will be utilized often during mathematics using manipulatives to make math visible. This board also has a lined side which will be utilized during writing to ensure proper handwriting though modeling and student participation.
