Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

With the pressure of engaging students in the math classroom, the creative juices can run low, so developing engaging activities suffers. Other teachers have already created some amazingly creative and engaging activities and lessons that would help me work with my students. “Teachers Pay Teachers is the go-to platform created by teachers, for teachers to access the community, content, and tools [we] need to teach at [our] best.”

This project will supply gift cards so that I can purchase amazing teacher created lessons and activities to help support my students as well as my fellow educators.

The learning process is quick, and implementation for student engagement is even quicker. Having the support of other teachers who have made these materials available will relieve me from some stress and have a positive impact on my students. Additionally, as mental health is vital over learning shared lessons come with an extra level of care in that it's been done already.
