This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school; it is located in a low socioeconomic area. The majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students are full of energy and excited to learn.

I am always encouraged by my students; they do not let their hardships affect their learning. They may not have everything that they need to be ready for the day, but that doesn't stop them! Their struggles only propel them to go farther, fight harder, try harder!

My Project

My students all have come in this school year a year below their reading level. My students are struggling when it comes to reading and I would love to help them all become amazing readers.

I spend a lot of my own money buying resources for my students from Teachers Pay Teachers, so having these gift cards to purchase fun resources to work on in the classroom and at home will be extremely helpful.

My students really enjoy the materials available from Teachers Pay Teachers, and I really want my students to have a passion for classwork.

I love how they enjoy reading and look forward to it every day. This is something we do together every day and it helps with their reading comprehension, too.
