This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome! Universal Transitional Kindergarten is such a special place to be! I am so lucky I get to spend my days watching these young ones discover and learn. Education is very important to our thriving, multicultural school. We are located in City Heights, above the hustle and bustle of the geographic center of San Diego. Eighty-five percent of students are English learners with non-English speakers in the home.

Many new immigrants find their first home on American soil here in our neighborhood.

Teachers Pay Teachers is a website where teachers can share and sell lessons and activities that help students learn, with worksheets, printable books, projects and more! With a gift card, I can buy thoughtful math activities, hands-on printable literacy center materials and other things to make learning more enjoyable. Using Teachers Pay Teachers has enriched my classroom this year. I am so happy to have access to Teachers Pay Teachers as it has saved me countless hours of work and has helped me to provide a richer and more fulfilling educational experience for my students.
