Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are anywhere from 10 to 12 years old. They are full of energy and want to thrive both in their personal lives and their educational world. These students come from a very diverse, low-income area.

By 6th grade, these students have been through some tough things, but they are not backing down from any challenge.

Often times they may need more motivation than others, but as they see the finish line of things they get more excited to participate and learn.

My Project

With this Teachers Pay Teachers gift card I will be purchasing science related actives that have already been vetted and created by other teachers. With these bundles I will have access to different differentiation that will help my students express their learning in new ways.

We know that education is not a one size fits all method any more, and teachers pay teachers is a way for others to see the different ways to teach students and for students to express their learning.

These projects not only help the students who are lower, but there are projects that push students who are ready for a new challenge.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
