My Project

Help me add books about the environment and recycling to my class library. We have a recycling program in our city, and I would like to assist my students with learning more about helping protect our environment.

These environmental and recycling books will provide my students with why and how they can help make our world more healthy instead of adding unnecessary items to landfills.

We can use these books as a whole class, in small groups, and individually to help my students learn what they can do to assist with protecting our world.

My class will learn that even though they are only individuals, they can start recycling or reusing items they use and encourage their families to follow suit. Through reading these books, class discussions, and projects my students can learn that recycling and reusing can spiral out and include many more people who do the same, which will help protect our world for future generations.
