My Students

My classroom is made of students that come from many different backgrounds. However, we all come together to make a small, close-knit community and school.

My students spend their school days working hard and doing all they can to grow.

They love working with hands-on materials, moving around, and expanding their knowledge.

My students enjoy showing their abilities and creativeness in many different ways. They strive to show their best effort in anything they are asked to do and work to give their best all day every day.

My Project

Botley is a beginning level robot that allows students to learn about code and how to code. Botley is simple enough that any beginner can operate it, which will enable my students to have independence when working with robotics.

This robot will enable me to teach my students the basics of coding and allow them to build upon those basics to be able to move into more significant projects.

Receiving this item will help guide my students into using larger and more complex robots and coding sequences used in making computer games. This will open doors to new experiences that my students may have never had the opportunity to experience.
