This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students LOVE coming to school and learning every day. They are 4 and 5 years old, but already passionate about education. They are curious and naturally attracted to art and science. My students do their best learning through hands-on lessons where they can explore concepts through the 5 senses.

90% of the students at our school experience poverty, and that makes the job of a school even more important.

With people like you supporting our students, they can learn and achieve their dreams.

My Project

We are learning about life cycles of insects and plants. Kids are loving to explore nature and learn about the world.

The problem is, we don't have what we need for our lessons--let's fix that!

By choosing this project you are sending my students a HUGE box of materials, including an insect activity and art supplies so they can show their learning through art. I will teach a unit where students learn how plants and insects interact and grow. Kids will begin to see themselves as scientists and artists, with your help. Thank you for making a difference for my students!
