Mrs. B. from Fort Worth TX is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students the sound of success by purchasing a wireless portable PA speaker system for their choir rehearsals and performances.

"Everything I chose, I had already played in concert. For the competition, I wanted to pick pieces I know that people like." - Van Cliburn
Every year "Cliburn In The Classroom" brings in a grand piano, a virtuoso pianist, a superior music lesson, a program facilitator, a camcorder, and a projector that projects the hands of the pianist on a large screen.
This unique North Texas music educational program introduces my students to classical music and basic elements of music via classical piano repertoire. This past year my students heard the meaning of "Virtuosity". After our guest virtuoso pianist played selections from Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin, and Prokofiev, my young musicians were in total amazement!
During this live piano performance, my students as audience members displayed proper concert etiquette! My students love learning about classical musicians, are the absolute greatest, and are very appreciative of "Cliburn in the Classroom!"
"Music is like painting in sound. You take it into your inner heart and never lose it. It's eternally mysterious." - Van Cliburn
In order for my choir students to experience the sound of success, we will need a wireless portable PA system for rehearsals and performances.
This much-needed resource will provide opportunities for students to learn how to use a microphone properly, showcase their talent, and continue their display of proper concert etiquette. This PA system is lightweight, easily portable, fun for karaoke and classroom use, and amplifies the sound for live performances.
