Tasty Treats for Student Snack Packs

Help me give my students tasty treats and super snacks for Snack Pack rewards and and to ward off hungry tummies.

My Project

I love to teach! I love to teach reading and writing! My students love to learn and reach their learning goals... especially when there is a Snack Pack as a reward! My classroom has flexible seating and is literature rich. Basic classroom supplies provide the necessary materials which allow me to teach students in various ways. Student-choice snacks are a must as my students eat lunch at 10:30 in the morning!

My students come from predominately low socio-economic communities and many do not speak English as their first language, meeting goals is its own language!

All students eat free breakfast and lunch at school. My classroom is a second home and I treat it as such. This project helps to bring my classroom up another notch and gives my students access to snacks that both engage them to pursue their goals and provide snacks to ward off hunger.

In this environment where students are sometimes virtual because of COVID or other sicknesses and where social distancing, individual items, and restructuring of classroom materials are mandatory. This influx of snacks will allow me to have enough chips, juice boxes, granola bars, cheese-its, and other snacks to allow ALL students to full and happy as they pursue their learning targets and stay full through the day!
