My Project

Our school library has a very small collection of books about food. My students LOVE books about food and have specifically requested I add cookbooks and culinary literature to the school library. Not only do cookbooks help students learn to read closely, but they also help students follow multi-step directions, learn time management skills, and celebrate our multicultural world through food appreciation.

By supporting this project, you will help double the size of our school library's highly-requested food and cookbook collection.

Once funded, teachers and students can access these titles to read for pleasure or use in their classroom curriculum.
