My Project

I will use these books to lead a year-long professional learning community with my math teachers. Teachers will use the books to learn research-based strategies to improve student engagement in their classes. As a PLC, we will create engaging lessons that align with standards. We will observe each other's classes and provide feedback. The lessons that we make will become part of our school's written mathematics curriculum. Students will be more engaged in collaborative problem-solving every day. Students will also be more likely to retain their learning in the long term.
