Tales of the Dusty Riders

Help me give my students blow up characters for a positive school culture experience as teachers dress up in character to positively impact our school culture.

My Project

A 4th grade colleague and I have teamed up using two new cowboy characters with inflatable ride-on horses. Our names are Jeb and Roy and our horse name's are Blackjack and Brown Sugar. Our goal is to improve our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program by taking it to the next level. We are recruiting more teachers and characters in our building to help improve school culture through skits and competitions.

We have currently built 9 episodes for season 1 of "Tales of the Dusty Riders." Each episode consists of different fun and exciting segments, similar to what you might see on Dude Perfect.

We have Students vs. Teacher competitions, Adventures of Jeb and Roy, Letters to Jeb and Roy, Construction Zone, Catch a Cougar (We are the Cougars), and many more. Our goal is to pull in more staff! Our current efforts have seen a drastic change in school climate and culture exemplified through referral numbers and school culture surveys from students.
