Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are midway through winter. The library needs a good dusting from winter winds kicking up the dust. Our noses keep running, reminding us we are not through with sniffle season! This next storm system will be bringing 30plus mile per hour winds! That means more runny noses and dust is coming.

Our project for dusting supplies and boxes of tissues will help us stay healthy and get through the winter.

We are getting ready to add almost 500 new books to our library collection. As we do this, we will be using the chance to also do a pre-spring cleaning that will also help tidy up for Nevada Reading Week when we welcome dozens of special guests to our library. We want the library we are proud of to also be clean and healthy.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
