My students are energetic and enthusiastic learners who live in a culturally diverse community. They are constantly eager to learn all they can about the world around them, how things work, and the people who live in their community.
My students are very interested in how they can make a difference in the world.
When they see a problem, they like to create solutions to try. If the first solution doesn't work, they put their heads together and try a new solution.
My Project
I am requesting materials for students to take home after they take part in my school's Mother Daughter Tea or a Guy's Stuff presentation. At these events, students come to school with their parents to talk about the changes that happen to their bodies as they get older. After this night, students become more interested in their personal health and hygiene. I am requesting La Vie feminine pads, chapstick, and toothpaste to help start them off on the right path.
These supplies will help my students focus on the importance of being healthy and having good hygiene.
