This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love for my 3rd grade students to have the opportunity to take home books so they can continue reading at home. It is super important for students to remember to bring the books back, so they can get a new one the following day. It is also important to place the books in a special bag so that it reminds them to take good care of the books, and other students can enjoy them too.
I want my students to be able to check out books from our classroom library and place them in their spacial take home book bag, so they can read at home.
Daily reading is so important, but I need to make sure that the books will be taken care of and that they will be return to the classroom. The book bags will really help me accomplish this.
