Tackle Spring Semester With 7th Grade!

Help me give my students all the essentials they need for the colder winter months coming to Texas. With COVID rearing its head again, students need hygiene related items readily available, as well as their usual supplies.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students are coming back from a year of virtual learning with a lot of gaps to fill, but so excited to be around friends and teachers again! They love the family and community we foster, and incentives and rewards for learning and participation will contribute to that. Filling the needs of the students falls on teachers and funding often is also our responsibility. As the winter approaches I want to make sure we have all necessities from pencils and erasers to tissues and sanitizer. Thank you!

My Project

My students need these consumable essentials on a daily basis. Coming from a school where many students' families struggle financially, it is difficult to ensure that they can provide everyday school necessities like pencils. I like knowing I can provide this in my classroom with no questions asked. I also want to cultivate a feeling of safety as far as sanitation and health goes, so my students feel good knowing I have various items related to sanitation available to clean up their work spaces and their hands when needed. THank you!
