Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have a self contained classroom of 17 students who would benefit greatly from some new tablets. Students would be able to use the tablets to work independently in centers, access learning games, and take AR tests while I am working one on one with other students. These tablets would allow them to take ownership of their learning and be able to track and keep up with how they are doing on the learning sites available to them. It will help them to improve in both the areas of reading and math because they will be able to have easier access to their learning.
