My students need three Samsung Galaxy Tablets in order to continue growing into tech savvy learners and differentiate their learning.

My Students

My school is a Title I school located near a military base, bringing in a diverse student population. Third grade is a big transition year for students. My students come to me with all different ability levels from anywhere between a 1st grade level and into middle school levels.

It is my job to take students where they are and push them forward.

Many of my students don't have access to technology at home, and in this day and age, technology is growing more and more important.

My Project

Having three Samsung Galaxy tablets will allow my students to do so many things. With this technology at their fingertips, students will be able to use apps and websites to aid in remediation of skills they have not yet mastered in math and reading. They will be able to use the tablets to complete research and projects with pictures or make movies to show what they have learned.

These tablets will open up so many opportunities for my students to be engaged and in charge of their own learning.

Using technology is an important skill to learn as these children grow into teenagers and adults.
