This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the assistance of a donor for the tablets that I am requesting for our Robotics Club, it will able my team to program the robot correctly for competition. We started a robotics club here at Jackson Middle School as we are known for being a Project Lead the Way school.

What makes my students special is that these certain students are going to high school and will be studying computer science, engineering and automation and robotic classes.

With the assistance of a donor for us to be able to obtain these tablets will help also in the classroom when I teach Computer Science for Innovator Makers and App Creators. With the way that technology improves yearly, having up to date tablets in our school will be helpful and having our students be successful future engineers. Some students in our district may not be able to afford certain items, but allowing them to at least have a chance of having a dream of what they would like to do in the future is always a win-win in my opinion.

In closing, having a donor assist with this donation that I am requesting would be great and allowing my students to expand their minds in what they could be in the years to come. I would be thankful in many ways if we would receive a donation that I am requesting for our students to gain the knowledge and the power of being able to be successful.
