My students need some tablets to program some robots we were able to purchase. While I have a computer for every student, a desktop will not communicate with the robots.

My Students
My students would like to have the opportunity to have a class set of tablets to interact with robots we have been able to purchase through the county. I have a diverse group of high school students ranging from 9th graders to 12th graders who are passionate about 21st-century learning skills.
My students range in age from 14 to 19 and are excited about the possibilities with programming and how the computer world works.
They are willing to work hard and put forth the ​effort to make our classroom a success.
My Project
My students are excited about using tablets in order to program some robots we were able to obtain through a grant. In order to program them, we need a set of tablets. These tablets will allow students to program individually instead of one at a time and will foster a deeper understanding of how programming works, and the impact they can have on the world at large.
These tablets would be a way to bridge the gap from game playing to programming a robot to do what I ask then take that information and transfer it to a real-world scenario to solve problems.
