My students are excited about using tablets in order to program some robots we were able to obtain through a grant. In order to program them, we need a set of tablets. These tablets will allow students to program individually instead of one at a time and will foster a deeper understanding of how programming works, and the impact they can have on the world at large. These tablets would be a way to bridge the gap from game playing to programming a robot to do what I ask then take that information and transfer it to a real-world scenario to solve problems.
