My students are an amazing group of 5 and 6 year olds! They come every day excited to learn and grow. They are from many different backgrounds but all have the same goal to love learning. Their favorite thing is to use technology!
With enough resources they can all have access to learn using the wide variety of apps and learning programs for Kindergarten.
This is a crucial stage in development and the growth they can make with this technology will ensure their success in future education. Please help pave the way for our future!
My Project
This past Summer our district took all of our computers from our classrooms. We finally received 2 Chromebooks per classroom with logins way too hard for Kindergartners to use. My students entered Kindergarten ready to learn and with a love of technology with nothing to use.
I love to use technology to introduce new topics, work in partners, and reinforce the skills needed to learn in Kindergarten.
I have several students that are only now learning English and this is crucial for them to practice these skills to learn all of their standards. We use programs such as Starfall, Brainpopjr, Razkids, Reading Counts, Kahoot, and SeeSaw.
Please help us get the much needed technology that most of these kids do not have access to otherwise! They are our future and deserve the best we can give them. We want to help them be ready for the 21st Century! Thank you so much!
