They eagerly worked together to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and think critically about the challenges in front of them. It was wonderful to see them collaborating, communicating, and applying what they've learned in such an interactive and meaningful way. The digital format allowed every student to take part, whether they were decoding math problems, analyzing reading passages, or applying science and social studies knowledge.\r\n\r\nThis learning experience has shown my students that education can be both challenging and fun. It encouraged them to think outside the box, persevere through challenges, and celebrate small victories as a team. The escape room also provided opportunities for problem-solving and critical thinking—skills that will serve them well far beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour donation has not only enriched our curriculum but has also reminded my students that there are people in their community who care deeply about their learning. Knowing that someone believes in them motivates them to give their best effort every day.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and generosity. Because of your support, my students were able to experience learning in a way that was memorable, meaningful, and full of excitement. Thanks to your generosity, my students now have access to a wider variety of stories and topics that reflect their interests, challenge their thinking, and encourage them to see the world in new ways. Each new title has quickly found eager readers, and it has been truly wonderful to watch students' excitement as they explore the classroom library shelves and discover new favorites.\r\n\r\nThe books you provided have already begun to make a difference in our daily reading routines. During independent reading time, students are choosing from a more diverse selection that allows them to read at their level and pursue topics they love. \r\n\r\nFor some of my reluctant readers, your donation has transformed reading from a task into a joy. Having books that truly capture their interests—whether through adventurous plots, inspiring characters, or beautiful illustrations—has motivated them to read more often and with greater confidence. The excitement is contagious; students are now recommending books to each other and sharing what they've learned, building a genuine classroom community of readers.\r\n\r\nYour kindness also sends an important message to my students: that their learning matters and that people in their community believe in them. Knowing that someone cared enough to invest in their education gives them a sense of pride and belonging. They are not only growing as readers but also as young citizens who understand the value of generosity and gratitude.\r\n\r\nAs an educator, I cannot thank you enough for helping foster a love of reading that will stay with my students for years to come. The books you donated are more than materials for lessons—they are tools for imagination, connection, and growth. Because of your support, my students have more opportunities to explore, dream, and develop a lifelong passion for learning.","fullyFundedDate":1755707244631,"projectUrl":"project/ssyra-books-for-5th-grade-readers/9542509/","projectTitle":"SSYRA Books for 5th Grade Readers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hatch","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3686474_orig.png?crop=256,256,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733363144292","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-hatchin4th"},{"teacherId":3686474,"projectId":9121478,"letterContent":"In today's classrooms, technology plays an essential role in helping students connect with the world, explore new ideas, and strengthen the skills they'll need for the future. The iPad you provided has become so much more than just a device—it's a window into discovery, creativity, and engagement. From the moment I introduced it to the class, the students' faces lit up with excitement. They immediately began brainstorming ways to use it for reading, research, and interactive projects.\r\n\r\nOne of the most powerful ways we've been able to use the iPad is for literacy and reading enrichment. Several of my students are working to improve their reading fluency and comprehension, and the educational apps and eBooks available on the iPad have allowed them to practice these skills at their own pace. They love listening to stories, recording their own reading, and using interactive comprehension games to reinforce what they've learned. For some of my reluctant readers, this technology has made reading feel more accessible and fun—an incredible transformation to witness.\r\n\r\nWe've also begun integrating the iPad into our science and social studies lessons. Students can now explore National Park virtual tours, watch educational videos, and engage in research with ease. During small group time, they work collaboratively to gather information, create digital presentations, and share their findings with their classmates. The iPad has become a tool for inquiry and collaboration—helping every student take ownership of their learning in new and meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only enhanced instruction but has also helped create a more inclusive classroom environment. For students who need extra support—whether it's text-to-speech features, language translation, or visual aids—the iPad provides accessibility tools that allow them to participate fully and confidently in class activities. It has opened doors for students who learn differently, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed.\r\n\r\nAs an educator, I am deeply touched by your willingness to invest in our students' growth. Your donation reminds them that there are people beyond our classroom walls who believe in their potential and want to see them succeed. That message of encouragement is powerful—it helps them feel valued and motivated to do their best.\r\n\r\nPlease know that your kindness is making a lasting impact. The iPad will continue to support learning, creativity, and innovation for years to come.
