My Students

I am gearing up for a brand new year! My first grade students will be working hard everyday as we learn to become readers, writers and problem solvers. Each day is an opportunity to explore and dig deeper in knowledge and we make every second count!

My students are hardworking first graders!

They love to laugh and have fun while learning and I try my best to make learning a joyful experience. Our school is a Title 1 school and we have many low income families. I want my students to enjoy and want to come to school each day. I want to impact every student that comes through my door, that is my goal not every school year, but every day!

My Project

My students will be using these tables to work in collaborating groups to learn and explore. Tables offer students a space to work as a team and learn how to communicate and work with others. We currently have desks and try and put them together in groups, but run into issues of desks moving around and materials falling through gaps. We need a space that teams and work hard and learn just as hard.

This donation will make a huge difference in the way my students are able to collaborate and work together.

They will have the space and work area to explore and experiment together. Students work and learn better in groups and this is why I really want to offer them this space to do it successfully in.
