My first graders are eager to learn! I have 19 individuals who love to work hands on and experience new things. They are curious and full of questions. I teach them to seek their own answers and use resources to discover the answers. My students are ambitious and love working in groups. I want to provide them with technology like the IPAD's so they can work in groups and explore and engage each other. Our school is a Title 1 school, which means more than half of the students attending the school qualify for free or reduced lunch. Most of my 19 students most likely don't have the necessary resources at home to explore learning in an engaging way.
