My Students
My classroom is full of wonderful 5th graders who are eager to learn and are full of potential. We are a Title I School with 70% qualifying for free and reduced-price lunch.
My goal as their teacher, role model, and support system is to help them pave the way to their successful futures.
My students are ready for, and deserving of a successful year!
Not only am I able to teach them and watch them learn and grow daily, but they are teaching me every day they walk into the classroom. My goal is to build a community within our classroom that provides a positive learning environment where the students feel safe, comfortable and excited to learn!
My Project
Our classroom needs new tables to better optimize our learning space. We have many options for flexible seating, but need tables to better utilize our wobble stools, yoga balls and floor cushions. Not only do we need new tables for our student friendly seats, but with these larger tables, we can reduce the amount of tables we need, therefore opening up more space in our classroom work and play. Right now, our classroom is too crowded and can be an overwhelming learning space with no extra room to work around the room.
These tables will provide students with optimal space for learning, group work, and better use of our amazing flexible seating options!
