My Students

Come aboard for an inside peek into our amazing kindergarten classroom! Our classroom has 25 eager learners who come to school every day ready to partake on a new adventure. We use positive discipline and bucket fillers to ensure that our classroom is a safe and comfortable place to learn. Our students come from a variety of neighborhoods and some students are even learning English for the first time. We are fortunate to have such a variety of learners in our classroom.

We are excited to begin a curriculum focused on preparing for the future needs of a new generation.

This includes having access to materials that will enhance a S.T.E.A.M. centered classroom. I hope to give my students a head start into an ever changing world with opportunities to explore as many curriculum areas as possible. Are you ready to come aboard with us?

My Project

My kindergarteners are so excited to use technology in the classroom! They look forward each week to our scheduled computer time to enhance the skills we learn in the classroom. There are specific apps that we use in all subject areas. Handwriting, Lexia Learning, STEM and STEAM are our favorites. Unfortunately, our computer time is extremely limited. With enough tablets in my classroom, I will be able to set up stations for cooperative learning groups. They can work on individual projects and use tools that are readily available.

What better way to create innovative learners than to put technology into the hands of our youngest learners!
