This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am spearheading a new class of teaching our English Learner students who have also been identified as having special needs. I am a special education teacher, and the new curriculum involves lots of interaction and communication. I would like the students to be at a table as opposed to the individual desks that they currently have. I would like several of these tables; however, I understand the cost and would be happy to have just one to see if this, in fact, works for us! Tables will be used for the many strategies outlined in the ELAchieve curriculum that we have adopted.
