Surfing Transitional Seat Covers

My Students

How ecstatic it would be for my tiger students to have seat covers at the convenience of their desk? As a teacher at a title 1 low income school, I educate students that receive free or reduced lunch. My kindergarten classroom is a nurturing class, where students feel safe and comfortable. Kindergarten is a vital year for my students, due to it being their first experience with education. My students come to school daily, curious to learn and explore new things.

My Project

With all the transitions in a school day in my kindergarten class, sometimes my students have trouble with keep up. The seat covers will help us complete classroom activities, classwork, and help us manage our materials so that we want invade each others personal space.

I know that this donation will cut down the choas that can be caused from transitioning from one task to the next.

My students will have more time for learning. The seat covers will embrace our conducive learning environment.

My students are a diversified group of curious, fun, and motivated 5 and 6 year olds eager to learn. Often times it is the simplest distractions that alter there attention.
