My students need a class set of Chromebook computers for their English Language Arts class.

My Students

My students come from all types of ethnic backgrounds, from every corner of the map. We are title I school, with a large population of english language learners and a variety of educational needs.

These 90 6th graders are working, growing, and becoming smarter each day.

Despite the challenges of being a low income school, with students speaking a variety of languages, my students walk into school with a smile each day, and work until they are proud of what they have accomplished.

My Project

These Chromebooks will be used for a variety of classroom activities, from increasing general computer literacy, to digital research. They will be used to access our virtual google classroom, where students will be able to find all the resources they need for school (text sets, instructions, assessments, rubrics, etc...).

Donations to this project will improve our classroom by moving us one step closer to providing each student with a computer during class.

These Chromebooks will allow students to research the information they need and practice the skills that will enable them to master the common core standards. But Most importantly, a room full of Chromebooks will allow students to see our classroom as part of the future they are working towards instead of a relic from education's past.
