This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students with autism struggle with traditional seating, which can make it difficult for them to focus, self-regulate, and fully engage in learning.
Cube chairs provide a supportive and structured seating option that helps students feel secure while allowing for flexibility in how they sit and move.
Why Cube Chairs?
Provides Stability & Comfort – Cube chairs offer a defined, supportive space, helping students feel grounded and safe while seated.
Encourages Focus & Engagement – With their structured design, cube chairs help reduce distractions, allowing students to concentrate on learning.
Supports Sensory Needs – Many students with autism benefit from alternative seating that helps with posture, body awareness, and self-regulation.
Flexible & Versatile – Cube chairs can be used in multiple ways—students can sit at different heights, turn them over for movement, or use them as a quiet space for sensory breaks.
Traditional classroom seating doesn’t always meet the needs of neurodivergent students. By providing non-traditional, sensory-friendly seating options, we can create an inclusive classroom where every student has the tools they need to succeed.
Your support will make a direct impact on my students, helping them feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn. Thank you for believing in their potential!
