Due to my students' diagnosis of autism and ADHD, sitting still on a typical school chair is a difficult task for the majority of them. My students tend to rock on the chairs, which is dangerous because they can fall and hit their heads. I have attempted to put bands around the legs of the chair in order for my students to have an option of moving their feet while they sit, but there are still students rocking their chairs throughout the day. The Balance Ball Seat will help my students release their need for moving while they are sitting down. They will benefit from these seats because they will be able to sit for longer periods of time, in order for them to complete their work without having to stand up every 5 minutes. It will also motivate them to complete classwork or participate during whole group lessons because they will take turns sitting on the balance balls.
