Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The supplies for this project with be used to foster literacy development, organizational skills and independence. The reading strips will help my students improve their fluency and reading comprehension. The overlays assist students with dyslexia in being able to read the words on the page.

Our students deserve every opportunity.

The poly envelopes will be used to keep the students' materials organized. Additionally, the envelopes are great for center work, which allows for more differentiation in the classroom. The AstroBright paper is a great tool in color coding tools. This also helps support the students' executive functioning skills.

The snacks enable me to give my students food throughout the day. Many come to school hungry and are unable to focus or stay in the classroom. Having a classroom pantry gives them access to snacks whenever they need to eat.
