My Project

I have a caseload of 50-70 students with diverse speech and language needs. I also service students with assistive technology needs needs throughout our schools. Students with dyslexia, learning difficulties, severe communication needs, and social/pragmatic difficulties. The iPad has some so many uses in speech and language therapy from communication apps to tools with reinforcing games to help students learn the curriculum. As a speech-language pathologist, I am always looking for ways to engage my students in meaningful activities that will enhance their communication abilities and overall understanding of the curriculum they are learning. I work on helping them to communicate with others to have a voice in this world and get across their wants and needs.
