Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Whole Group and Circle Time learning experiences are often difficult for preschoolers to maintain focus and ignore distractions. My goal for Whole Group experiences is to give my students the tools they need to focus their bodies to be ready to learn.

By providing a variety of tools to my students, I can find something that will work for each child - a seating option, sensory feedback, a fidget - that will help them attend and be present for whole group learning.

I believe that differentiation for students goes beyond the curriculum itself. Everyone has strategies and items that help them focus on work. I hope that by having these materials available, I can allow my students to explore materials to find what helps them learn best.
