Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will use items for their safe travels in Europe this summer with their classmates. The books and folders will be used to support classroom literacy for our Drop Everything and Read time in Spanish!

The goals of this project are to promote international travel and also Spanish-Language literacy for our students!

My students have worked to fundraised all year to travel to Spain this summer. The hand sanitizer will help keep them safe on their journey.

The books in my project are for more Heritage Learner Spanish Class! It is a space where students working to connect with the Spanish language and stories from around Latin America and Spain. It is an exciting opportunity for students to find the literature that they love and improve their reading fluency and vocabulary.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
