My Students

I am the teacher of middle school students with special needs who have intellectual disabilities and autism but are so full of life and energy. Each day is treated like a fresh start on our journey together. We learn from each other and grow every day. My kiddos are always making things for their teachers and staff. Unfortunately we also live in a low income area and my students lack the basic school supplies needed. Any donations to improve their learning experience are greatly appreciated.

My Project

Your donation of needed classroom supplies can help support a special needs classroom run more effectively and efficiently. At this time, We are in need of headphones we use daily in all subject areas. My students are enjoying Edmentum an online support for math, reading and language. They spend about ten minutes on each subject filling in the gaps of their learning pathways. Lessons can be read aloud but require headphones for listening and preventing distractions. My kiddos like learning through technology and I want to continue to provide a variety of learning experiences to match their individual learning styles.
