Hello, I am in my eleventh year teaching students with special needs including intellectual disability and autism. I have a group of middle school students and each year I get to reflect and grow in my teaching ability Through professional development, collaboration, trial and error taking away new ideas and plans for a more successful year than the one before. Unfortunately, I am only provided a budget of $250.00 for the whole school year. Your donation of needed classroom supplies can help support a special needs classroom run more effectively and efficiently. Last school year I met my SMART goal and each of my students increased their reading grade level by half a grade or better! This year, I want to continue helping them achieve great success in math and reading. I want them to take pride in their ability to become even better readers and you can help too by your donation of reading trackers, head phones, take home folders for books, etc. If you feel so inclined, please consider our special needs classroom with your donation of materials to create a more productive learning environment. They are a great group of students who love learning and look forward to school each day.
