My Project

I have a list of books I would love to have in my classroom to support different lessons on social-emotional learning. This lesson includes concepts about ownership, Managing Anger, calming strategies, Empathy, Speaking with Good Purpose, This is it, and teaching others well/civil rights.

Having books in my hands as the teacher gives me the chance to dive into the story and make strong connections for the students to relate to the story.

I can talk about the details of the pictures and pause for dramatic effect. These books will be used school year after, school year.
