During small-group time, they practice essential reading and math skills at their own pace while developing collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Struggling readers gain confidence as they find activities they can succeed at, and advanced learners are challenged in fun, interactive ways that keep them motivated and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nThe TPT gift card allowed me to find high-quality, standards-aligned resources that perfectly support our curriculum. With these tools, learning has become more creative, personalized, and engaging. Students now have access to tools that help them regulate during transitions, prepare for academic tasks, and manage moments of overwhelm throughout the day. The vibration plate has quickly become a favorite—several students who often show signs of distress or dysregulation visibly relax when using it, shifting from tense movements to calm, joyful smiles. Every student has eagerly explored the new items, and it has been wonderful to watch them discover what feels grounding and comforting to their bodies.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students' excitement was immediate. They gravitated toward different items—some loved the visual timers, others preferred the the cuddle swing, and many were fascinated by the vibrating tools. Their curiosity and genuine enthusiasm filled the room. These resources created a sense of comfort, ownership, and empowerment from the very first moment. Many items are being used in their general education classrooms as well.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, our next steps involve teaching students how to integrate these tools into their learning routines with growing independence.
