This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As many of you know, CPS schools are facing serious budget cuts; the soccer team is directly impacted, and we know extracurricular programs like soccer are often among the first to feel the squeeze. At our school, soccer isn’t just a sport—it’s an after-school program that builds discipline, confidence, mental toughness, and fosters a Student-Athlete Mindset. For many of our students, it’s a positive outlet that keeps them active, focused, and connected to caring mentors who prioritize their academic success and overall well-being.

This is why I'm reaching out to our amazing community to ask for donations for soccer balls, shoes, and other soccer gear for our soccer team.

Every donation helps remove a barrier for a young athlete who wants to step on the field but might not have the means to get there.
