My Students
Help us grow our "Red Wagon Books" which contain literature that will help students engage in manners, kindness, perseverance, goo character skills, and develop socially and emotionally. We store these books in our school library in a red wagon with a special red wagon sticker. Students and teachers are encouraged to take these books out and read them with the class, partners, and families. With the small collection we have, our students are craving more. Let's read "Red Wagon Books."
My Project
The books within "Red Wagon Books" support social and emotional learning. The authors have written about perseverance, responsibility, respect, manners, and good citizenship in the community. This program was started by myself, Mrs. Cusmano and our school librarian, Mrs. Oliver. We have a small collection of books and are looking to grow it and expand it to the classrooms. Our students have shown great interest in these books and it will benefit our entire school to grow with the program. Many of our readers have written reviews and rated the books. They support one another's reading and have shown good character through their reading.
