Help me give my students and the entire school more great books to add to our school library. Our district has halted funding for district libraries, and there are so many great books we would like to get!

My Project

Every school should have a well stocked and culturally relevant library. These books can also consist of graphic novels that are the fastest growing form of children developing a love of reading. Book sets that are relevant and not from 10 plus years ago is what students want to read the most. They also put in multiple requests for books in this project

School libraries are underfunded around the country, but ours is especially in need of books of cultural relevance and interesting series that can satisfy the demand of an ever growing and diverse student population.

Our librarian has worked tirelessly to add as many new books as possible each year. With current funding levels, this has been a VERY slow process. UPDATE: 100% of the district funding has been frozen for the year.

I want to give the whole population of our school lots of new books by helping our library get a new batch of great books for the students to read. Helping our school with this project is something I hope you the donor will appreciate.
