This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is that they love gaming, but a lot of these students when they go home, can't play games. They don't own consoles or computers. Many only get a chance to play when they are here for the club. I love that they come to the club and enjoy the little time they get here to play and compete against other schools. Sometimes we look at other schools and see their awesome gaming labs and my students get sad. "That school is better" "How we will win against them" "They have their station" "They get custom-built computers" The list goes on. I'm hoping that getting a keyboard and mouse for them to play with, will not only improve their skills, but will also improve the overall morale, and let them know that we do care about them, and they also deserve nice things.
