Help me give my students a better educational experience in school as a student whose first language is not English. I am in need of some basic supplies to help my classroom grow and support my students.
In my classroom, I see different ages of students with different needs for about 30 minutes in small groups throughout the day. I work with students who are brand new to English and need more support, students who are nonverbal, and students who are close to exiting out of English classes. We play a lot of memory or matching games in the classroom and need thicker paper, which is why I am asking for cardstock. Cardstock is essential in making materials last as well as challenging the students who can see through the paper.
I am also asking for materials and books such as pouches, notebooks, crayons, etc.
that support the different units we learn about in class. As we have so many students with different abilities, sometimes I use supplemental materials outside of our curriculum to meet their needs. All materials I am asking for will help our classroom become more organized, support student learning, and help meet each student at their ability level.
