My students were so excited to see everything. One student ran up to the new mailbox organizer and said, \"Do we really get our own slot now?!\" It immediately helped us bring more structure and independence into our daily routine.\r\n\r\nWe're already using the supplies in several ways. The mailbox slots have made it much easier for students to manage their work, collect handouts, and turn in assignments—especially helpful for students who benefit from clear routines and visual organization. The glue sticks and pencils have been essential for our writing and craft projects. One highlight was a \"My Favorite Animal\" writing activity where students created mini booklets—made even more special with the new supplies that allowed for smoother writing and colorful creativity.\r\n\r\nThe special education games have been a true gift. They've helped support small-group instruction, offering engaging, hands-on ways to build social-emotional skills, number sense, and literacy. One student who often struggles with traditional instruction was fully engaged during a matching game—and proudly declared, \"I won all by myself!\"\r\n\r\nNext up, we'll be using these resources during our end-of-year thematic units and student-led centers. The games will rotate through small groups, and the mailbox system will help students prepare for more independence as they transition to the next grade.\r\n\r\nThank you for making a real difference in our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1746456278936,"projectUrl":"project/25-kindergarten-and-first-grade-ell-need/9283785/","projectTitle":"25 Kindergarten and First Grade ELL Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Knoop","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7746943"},{"teacherId":9523497,"projectId":8729656,"letterContent":"My students have taken full advantage of their additional food options while at school.
