My Students

I am a first year fourth grade teacher. I joined the MaST school community mid year with my wonderful group of fourth graders. I work with two separate classes of fourth graders teaching both ELA and Social Studies. The students are eager and have a willingness to learn. The students in our school strive for excellence. They care for one another and help support each other within our classroom. Over 50 students will benefit from any donations made to our classroom.

My Project

I am creating a classroom library for my students. This will be a center that students can use through-out the instructional day and even for breaks to better support their mental health. I strive to create a library that reflects the different cultures and interests of my students. I also included some other basic needs for our classroom as I am a first year teacher starting in the middle of the school year. We have a need for supplies to lead small group reading instruction. We also have a need for additional storage within the classroom for our text books.
