Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For our project our class is asking for donations to help our classroom become a better home for us to enjoy learning in, including flexible seating, and gear to pair with our Chromebooks so we can take our reading to the next level! Teaching during the pandemic has been very difficult for these 2nd graders. Many of these students did not go to kindergarten in person, which has led to a gap in their learning. Having some extra materials such as headphones for our Chromebooks, classroom supplies and literacy games will help us immensely.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
